QamarDeen 1.0.4 is now live in the App Store and in this version we have turned on iTunes File Sharing to allow you to manually backup and restore your QamarDeen data. iTunes normally backs up your data each time you sync your device, but for those who want a little extra assurance you can now have that. To backup your QamarDeen data simply connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. Click on the name of your device in the devices list on the left hand side and then select the "Apps" tab. If you scroll down you should see the "File Sharing" section and QamarDeen as one of the apps that uses it.

If you select QamarDeen you should see the file "QamarDeen.sqlite" as shown above, you can press "Save to..." to save that file on your computer. To restore your data simply press the "Add..." button and choose the QamarDeen.sqlite file on your machine, when it prompts you if you would like to replace the file choose "Replace" and your data should be fully restored.

Batoul Apps is very proud to announce QamarDeen, a completely new type of Islamic iPhone app. QamarDeen is an Islamic behavior tracking app, allowing to log how you prayed, how much Quran you read, if you gave charity and if you fasted. It can then display that information in a graph to show you your progress over time. The intention is that this app will be an effective tool in helping you create and maintain better and more consistent Islamic behaviors.

QamarDeen comes with great features like integration with Quran Reader, and other third party Quran apps, so you can easily resume reading from your last recorded spot. You can also protect your information by enabling a passcode to open the app, keeping your deeds between you and Allah (swt). QamarDeen features a unique and innovative design by the very talented Bandar Raffah.

QamarDeen is available in the App Store as a free download. So we encourage everyone to go and grab a copy.
